                    Box Score Dodge City volleyball hit the road once again this season facing off with Colby in KJCCC action and struggled to find their groove falling in three-straight sets to the Trojans. 
The loss drops the Conquistadors to 12-9 on the season and 3-3 in KJCCC action. 
The Conqs came out of the gate swinging early getting a few early kills from Agnes Hegardt giving the Conqs the early advantage, but Colby pushed back and snatched the lead in the first set midway through the set. After a Conqs timeout, the Conqs would look to have a pushback themselves but ultimately Colby held them off leading to the Trojans taking the first set 25-20. Set two saw the home team, Trojans working to an early advantage making a hill for the Conqs to climb in the second set that proved to be too much as Colby went up 2-0 in the match on a 25-17 second set win. The third set was back-and-forth early, but the Trojans strung a run together late ultimately working to the 25-19 set win to give the Trojans the three-set win. 
In the loss, Tess De Zanet recorded eight kills, while both Hegardt and Beatriz Lampugnani Cornachini each posted six. Leisey Keli'I finished with 23 digs on the evening, while Sierra Scanlan recorded 17 assists, 13 digs, and three kills. Hayden Pinard off the bench recorded seven assists and nine digs.
