Dodge City men's soccer faced off with #7 Barton on the road in a conference tilt and despite an early lead, the Conquistadors would fall 2-1.
The loss moves the Conqs to 6-3-1 on the season and 3-3-1 in KJCCC action.

Crescenzo Christian Difficile for a goal just before the eight-minute mark of the first half. Conqs would play with the lead throughout the rest of the first half and carry a 1-0 advantage into the intermission. While the Conqs would outshoot Barton in the first half 8-5 the second half would see the script flipped as the Cougars outshoot the Conqs 9-5 which led to a game-tying goal in the 63rd minute and then the go-ahead goal in the 78th minute off a penalty kick.
The contest overall was nearly even with 14 shots for Barton and 13 for Dodge City, while
Daniel Ruiz recorded a pair of saves in the loss.
