Dodge City volleyball hit the road again this season this time squaring off with Pratt in KJCCC action the Conquistadors dispatched the Beavers in three straight sets. 
 
The Conqs would earn the victory in three sets 25-23, 25-19, 25-19 improving to 12-8 on the season and 3-2 in conference play. The Conqs also have now won three in a row in the series with the Beavers and six of the last seven meetings. 
 
Set one would feature leads for both teams including the Conqs overcoming a late Pratt lead to push ahead and win a tight battle 25-23. Set two would see the Conqs grab control, but Pratt would push back tightening the contest and the Conqs would answer to cap the second set 25-19. The third set saw the Conqs jump up early 7-1 and would use the strong start to snag the third set 25-19 to win the match over Pratt. 
 
Offensively 
Beatriz Lampugnani Cornachini led the Conqs with 12 kills on a .393 hitting percentage adding three aces and three digs. 
Leisey Keli'i was stout at libero again with 18 digs, while 
Sierra Scanlan finished with 22 assists, seven digs, and five kills. 
Hayden Pinard got in the mix at setter recording 12 assists, while five other Conqs had at least four kills each. 
 
Action continues the road for the Conqs on Wednesday, September 27th as they travel to Colby to take on the Trojans at 6:30 pm.
