For the third straight match, the Dodge City women's soccer team played to a tie in a conference showdown this time finishing with a 0-0 tie with Seward County.
The Conquistadors with the tie are now 1-3-3 on the season and 0-3-3 in KJCCC action.
Throughout the contest, the Conqs would control the pace outdueling the Saints of Seward County in multiple ways. The first half would see the Conqs record 10 shots with five on goal with six different Conqs recording a shot. However, despite the shot opportunities the Conqs had in the first half the game was gridlocked at 0-0 at intermission. The second half would see multiple opportunities for the Conqs again but Seward County would get a few cracks at the goal with Cristina Boluda and
Lucia Martinez Garcia making big defensive stops late to keep the Saints off the board. The Conqs would settle for the 0-0 tie marking their third straight tie.
In the contest, the Conqs would outshoot Seward County 19-7 and have nine corner kick opportunities.
Conqs are back in action on Wednesday, September 20th against #16 Butler at home at 5:00 pm.
