Still locked up at 2-0 the Conqs were able to break through in the second half with more offensive chances and finally got on the scoreboard as Maria Scopino chipped the ball over the defense laying it up for Femke Wiedeman in the box to tally her first goal of the season it coming it the 77th minute. The Conqs made it a brand new ballgame at that point and would threaten to tie the contest but Barton flipped it back to a two-goal advantage in the final two minutes grabbing the 3-1 victory.
In the contest, the Conqs were out-shot 16-9 but the Conqs in the second half were pretty even in shots at 9-8. Wiedeman tallied the goal for the Conqs and Scopino an assist, while Lucia Martinez Garcia had four saves.
