Women's Soccer Drops KJCCC Road Tilt With KCK

Dodge City women's soccer continued their season with KJCCC action on the road on Saturday and took on KCK ultimately suffering a tough 2-0 loss. 

The loss moves the Conquistadors to 1-2 on the season and 0-2 in KJCCC action, while still searching for their first win over KCK since 2015. 

The contest would not feature many shot opportunities from either side as the game remained scoreless until the 35th minute when KCK took the 1-0 lead. The Blue Devils tacked on another goal in the 56th of the match and the Conqs were unable to navigate their way to a goal falling 2-0. 

In the loss, the Conqs were outshot 7-4 in the matchup with all four shots for the Conqs coming from Yui Fujii. 

Up next KJCCC play continues for the Conqs as they will take on Hutchinson on Wednesday, August 30th at home at 6:00 pm.
