The Conqs would then string together an 8-0 run to lead 26-17 and ultimately manage to own a 10-point lead in the first half but went into intermission up 36-29. Four minutes into the second half the Conqs lead was just three at 42-39 and then it was cut to one point with 13:05 left in the game. In back-and-forth action, the Conqs saw Colby snag a brief lead at 52-51 with 10:16 left in the game and then the Trojans led again at 65-63 with 5:02 left in the game. However, each of those times the Conqs answered the first being a 6-0 run and then a Chris Robinson three-pointer later. Tied at 69-69 Robinson drained another big three-pointer and the Conqs would not trail the rest of the way as Jason Edwards hit a late reserve layup and free throws down the stretch after Cam Malray came up with a huge late block. The Conqs would secure the 78-74 win on the road.
