Dodge City volleyball wrapped up the season with a run to the Region VI Plains District Semifinals for the second straight year falling to Colby in four sets to end the season (25-18, 20-25, 15-25, 14-25).

The Conquistadors with the loss finished the year 16-17 and made the Region VI Plains District Semifinals for the second straight year.

Playing the Trojans of Colby for the third time this season the Conqs came out playing well and would post 13 kills in the first set while taking advantage of some Colby miscues to win the first set 25-18 and lead the match. Set two would be tight throughout until Colby took late control and grabbed it 25-20 to even the match at one set apiece. The Trojans would jump on the Conqs early in the next couple of sets and establish a lead that the Conqs were unable to overcome leading to the Trojans winning the third and fourth sets 25-15 and 25-14 to give them the match.

In the loss, Tess De Zanet tallied 13 kills with eight digs, while Beatriz Lampugnani Cornachini added 10 kills and five digs.
