Women's Soccer Falls On the Road Against #18 Butler

For the ninth time this season the Dodge City women's soccer team took on a ranked opponent this time hitting the road against #18 Butler and the Conquistadors struggled on the road falling 6-0. 

The loss moves the Conqs to 3-8-5 on the season and just 2-8-5 in KJCCC play. 

The Conqs would keep it scoreless through nearly the first 23 minutes of the action but Butler around the 23rd-minute mark tallied their first goal and then added two more to lead 3-0 at halftime. Shortly into the second half the Grizzlies of Butler got on the board again and would tally two more goals leading the Conqs to fall 6-0. 

In the loss, the Conqs were outshot 15-2, while Lucia Martinez Garcia did record seven saves in the loss. 

The Conqs wrap up the regular season at home against Coffeyville on Monday, October 23rd at 6:00 pm.
