Dodge City men's basketball overcame plenty of adversity and sluggish offense on the road in KJCCC action to claim an 89-85 double overtime win over Independence.
The Conquistadors who trailed nearly all of regulation improved to 12-3 overall and 8-1 in KJCCC action with the win.
Falling behind early the Conqs trailed 6-4 when the Pirates of Independence would go on a 10-0 run to lead 16-4 with 11:35 left in the first half.
