Dodge City women's soccer hit the road for another KJCCC contest on Wednesday as they took on Cowley and would suffer a 3-0 loss.
The loss moves the Conquistadors to 1-6-1 on the season as they look for their first Jayhawk Conference win of the season.
After playing to a stalemate over the first 27 minutes of the contest the Conqs saw Cowley breakthrough for their first goal of contest and then a minute later add to it to make it 2-0. The match would enter halftime at 2-0 score and in the second half the Conqs continued to struggle to find offensive opportunities will Cowley added another goal to make it the final of 3-0.
Joelle Brand did record 10 saves in the loss, but the Conqs struggled to get offensive opportunities while Cowley had 24 shots.
Conqs are back in action at home against Neosho County on Saturday, October 1
st at 1:00 pm.
