Dodge City football program is set to begin a new era underway under the guidance of new Head Coach,
Terry Karg as the 2022 schedule has been set.
The Conquistadors will have a slate of 10 games for the 2022 season with six games at home and four on the road. Schedule will include all six other KJCCC schools along with all three school from Iowa partnering up with the KJCCC once again, along with one other non-conference contest.
Schedule will include six teams who finished the 2021 season ranked in the NJCAA Division I rankings and starts with a date on the road against the NJCAA National Championship Runner-ups, Iowa Western. The Conqs will open the 2022 season at Iowa Western on August 27th in Council Bluffs, Iowa with a 1:00pm kickoff.
The Conqs will have their home opener the following week on September 3rd against the defending KJCCC champions, Coffeyville. The game will be an evening contest with a 7:00pm start time.
Up next the Conqs will host Highland in week three action on September 10th, kicking off at 1:00pm and then will have their first of two bye weeks. Following the bye week the Conqs will host Diamond Football Academy out of Texas with a 2:00pm kickoff on September 24th.
Conqs are back on the road to open October traveling to take on rival Garden City in a night game on October 1st with a 7:00pm kickoff, and then will play host to Hutchinson and Ellsworth the next two weeks on October 8th and 15th, respectively both with 1:00pm start times. On October 22nd the Conqs make their second trip to Iowa traveling to Fort Dodge to play Iowa Central and will have an early kickoff time of 11:00am.
After a bye week to end the month of October the Conqs will finish the season with a two more games traveling to El Dorado to face Butler in a 7:00pm tilt on November 5th and then finish the regular season against Independence at home on November 12th with a 1:00pm kickoff.
Ticket information for all Dodge City football home games will be available in July.
