Dodge City men's basketball made it two straight wins on the road against top-tier competition as they came from behind to claim an 83-77 win over the Butler Grizzlies on Saturday.

The win moves the Conquistadors to 20-4 on the season and 15-3 in KJCCC action, while also handing Butler their first loss at home this season.

Conqs fell behind early and worked to an 11-11 tie, but Butler countered with a 9-0 to gain control and the Grizzlies would control most of the first half even going up double figures. JTHe Conqs would put together a 12-3 run over the final six minutes of the first half and tie the game up at 36-36 heading into halftime. The second half would be tight throughout and the Conqs snagged the lead at 65-62 with 7:15 remaining after a BJ Freeman three-pointer. In the final two minutes of action, the Conqs would hold multiple six-point leads but led just 79-77 with twenty seconds remaining and the Conqs would secure the game on Themus Fulks two free-throws and a Kalen Williams dunk to the exclamation point to win 83-77.

For the tenth time, this season the Conqs shot 50+% from the floor as a team shooting 57.4% and went 16-20 from the free-throw line while matching a season-best with 22 assists.
