(Lamar, Co) -- The Dodge City Community College Baseball team get back on track as they led the Conqs to a Non-Conference win over Lamar Community College.
 
Dodge City was able to get out to a quick lead as they scored in each of the first three innings, getting out to a 4-0 lead. Ryan Dos Santos singled in the first, Logan Murany hit a solo shot in the second, and Santos and Cameron Fritz singled in the third. Lamar finally got on the board in the bottom of the third to score their first run. The Conqs would take control in the fourth, however, when Garrett McGowan went deep for his 9^thhome run of the season. The three-run homer expanded the Conq lead to 7-1. The Runnin' Lopes would score three over the fourth, and fifth innings but that would not stop the Conquistadors, who would add 2 more runs on Spencer Marcus' seventh home run of the season in the sixth inning. The Conqs would add one more on a bases-loaded walk scoring Marcus in the eighth inning, leading to the 10-5 victory.
 
Spencer Marcus went 4-6 on the day, scoring three runs in addition to his two-run home run. Hayden Wilcox picked up the win, and the bullpen combined to throw five innings, and give up three earned runs, on five hits.
