The CONQS came out attacking as freshman guard, Quindarius Thomas found the hot hand early nailing a couple of 3's and attacking the rim to score as well. Sophomore forward, Mason Seniguar also found his mid-range shooting stroke to partner with Thomas to give the CONQS an early lead at 21-7. Miles Ray entered the game at the 14 minute mark of the first half and got it going with Jump Shots and high flying inside finishes! Ray soured on two dynamic follow dunks. The Conquistadors Defense was also tough early with freshman center, Deatrick Pashell taking care of the paint and rim protecting. Bethany College would not go away and stayed close with long range 3's from Calief Gregg and Williams Cavion. The CONQS extended their lead to 52-41 with late buckets from DeJuan Horne to lead at the half by that score. A quick run early in the second half pushed the DCCC lead to 20 points. At that point the CONQS bench depth started to really wear down Bethany. The Conquistadors deep bench was on full display Monday night and it helped DCCC run away with their first Win of the season 107-83. The CONQS Defense held Bethany to 35% FG Shooting as the CONQS shot 51.9% from the floor.
