Box Score PRATT, Kan. - Coming off four straight losses for the first time all season, the Conquistador volleyball team traveled to Pratt Community College, where they took down the Beavers in three sets by scores of 25-16, 25-10 and 25-17.

Jaylen Pegues collected another double-double on the night, with 13 digs and 10 kills. Rachel Slattery also collected a team-high 12 kills while Raquel Valdez added another nine kills. Alex Stecklein also had 13 digs on the night, while Gabriella Valdez collected 30 assists.

Dodge City was in control of the game, for most of the match, in all three sets, the Conqs had to battle for the first few points, but then pulled away late and never looked back, as they eventually won set one by nine points.

In set two, the same happened, with the Conqs pulling away late to win the set, 25-10.

The Conqs were not going to play four sets, as they came out strong again in set three and took it to the Beavers, finishing the match in three sets by a score of 25-17.

Dodge City is now 17-13 on the year and will be in action on Friday, Oct. 20, as they host Garden City for sophomore night at 6:30 p.m., in the Student Activity Center.
