DODGE CITY, Kan. - The Dodge City Community College men's soccer team could not come up with a goal, eventually settling for a 0-0 draw at home against Cloud County Community College at Memorial Stadium on Wednesday, September 7th.
DC3 is now 0-3-2 on the season and 0-1-1 in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference after earning the draw against the preseason KJCCC west favorites.
Neither team really held possession throughout the game, with Cloud County taking 19 shots compared to only six for the Conquistadors. Despite Dodge City being outshot 5-1 in the extra frames, goalie
Eric Edge would make two big saves to add to his game-high eight in his collegiate debut to allow for DC3 to come away with one point.
The Conquistadors will not play again until next Wednesday, September 14th when they travel to rival Barton County for a 4 p.m. match.
