Box Score DODGE CITY, Kansas:  DC3 volleyball succumbed to the Garden City attack effort, eventually falling in straight sets to close out the game.  The loss puts Dodge 4-29 overall, 0-14 in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.
The Conquistadors dropped the first set 25-21, and despite an eight-point comeback sponsored on the serve of 
Cynthia Cisneros, could not overcome the Broncbusters in the second set eventually losing 25-22 to go down 2-0. 
DC3 started the last set with the intent to win, snagging a 4-0 lead to start things off.  Costly plays eventually found the set tied 22-22.  A pair of service errors, one on each side and a won GC volley put the set at 24-22 to Garden.  A big kill from the left side by Garden sealed the deal, putting the final set score at 25-22 to the visitors. 
On the night, the Conqs collected 32 kills and 12 attack errors in 111 total attacks for a .180 attack percentage.  They also picked up two block solos and four block assists as a team. 
Emily Slattery led the attack effort with a .316 attack percentage after posting seven kills and only one error in 19 attempts.  She also celebrated Sophomore Night with one block solo and one block assist. 
Darrie Rogers and 
Alexis Sanchez followed the offensive with six kills apiece.  Rogers posted 22 total attack attempts, three service aces, five digs and one assist to help the Conq effort while Sanchez put up 19 total attack attempts, 12 successful receive attempts and two digs for DC3. 
Daisy Cheek added five kills, 24 assists, one service aces, two block assists and seven digs on the night while 
Ana Babovice was good for four kills in eight attempts for a .375 attack percentage.  Also helping in the effort was 
Brandi Fairbank who amassed three kills in eight attempts for a .375 hitting percentage and one big solo block. 
Cynthia Cisneros had a day at the service line with two service aces and 17 successful service attempts.  She added eight digs and one assist as well. 
Samantha Endres also amassed 16 digs and 31 serve receives for the Conqs. 
Dodge City volleyball returns to the DC3 Gymnasium on Friday, October 24 at 6:30 when they take on their last home KJCCC matchup against Colby Community College.
