Track and field competed at the NJCAA Region 6 Outdoor Championships and the performance of Brier Thompson in the decathlon earned him a fourth-place finish in the region. He amassed 5,656 total points over 10 events and is ranked 11thin the NJCAA overall. He won three events during the decathlon taking first in the 100-meter dash (10.77), long jump (6.53m), and 400-meter dash (50.38). While recording the following finishes in the other events: fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (16.54) and the discus (27.81m), sixth in the pole vault (3.21m), seventh in the 1500-meter run (5:16.33), eighth in the high jump (1.60m), ninth in the shot put (9.67m) and the javelin (32.98m).Â
