Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City track and field competed at the Region 6 Indoor Championships and Olivia Leatherman had a strong showing finishing third in the pentathlon with 2,992 total points over five events. She established a school record in the pentathlon with her performance. She took third in the long jump (5.06m – 16'07.75") as her best finish, while taking fourth in the high jump (1.47m – 4'09.75") and fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.34). In the shot put (8.36m – 27'05.25"), she earned a seventh-place finish and placed ninth in the 800-meter run (2:40.65). She currently ranks fifth in the NJCAA in the pentathlon; the top 16 qualify for NJCAA nationals. Leatherman also finished ninth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.18) and competed in the high jump (1.37m).
