Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City women’s basketball picked up a pair of convincing wins over Eastern Wyoming and Laramie County to move to 5-1 on the season. Shorna Preston recorded her fourth and fifth double-doubles of the season. Preston posted 16 points on 6-10 shooting while grabbing 13 rebounds in win over Eastern Wyoming adding five assists and two steals. She then had 11 points and 11 rebounds along with eight assists in win over Laramie County. On the season Preston is averaging 14.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, four assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game.
