Statham had a big night in the Dodge City Community College football team's 27-14 win over No. 8 Hutchinson on Saturday. The freshman defensive back had 10 tackles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery in helping the Conquistadors hold the Blue Dragons to under 300 yards of offense. He also returned two kickoffs for 62 yards and two punts for 13 yards.
