Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City women’s soccer team opened the season with a 3-0 win over Southeast marking the first season-opening win for the program since 2017 and Laura Gomez was a key piece in the win. Gomez tallied two of the three goals as she got the scoring going in the eighth minute of the contest to give the Conqs the lead. She would find the back of the net in the second half as she cashed in on a penalty kick going top shelf and pinning in the goal off the crossbar.
