Dodge City baseball took the series against Garden City winning three of four against the Broncbusters and the play of Andrew Detlefsen stood out for the Conquistadors during the series. Detlefsen finished 7-14 in the four games with six of his seven hits being extra base hits.Â

Detlefsen would hit .500 for the series (7-14) with seven runs scored, nine RBI, a double, two triples, three home runs, three walks, and one stolen base. In the series opener he was 3-4 with three runs scored, two RBI, a double, triple, and home run with his home run being a two-run shot late in the game helping the Conqs secure the 11-10 win. In game two he went 2-4 with five RBI, blasting two home runs, while in the series finale he was 2-5 with two runs scored, a walk, and a triple.Â

On the season he is hitting .309 with 25 hits, 20 runs scored, a team-high 25 RBI, along with seven walks, one double, three triples, and a team-high six home runs.Â
