Ty Wilson enters his fourth season as Head women’s golf coach at Dodge City joining the staff in August 2022. 

In back-to-back years, Wilson's second and third year as coach, the Conquistadors won the KJCCC, Region 6, and Plains District titles winning all three at one tournament in 2024 and 2025. The 2024 district title marked the first in school history for the Conqs. The 2024 and 2025 seasons saw the Conqs compete at nationals and they recorded seventh and eighth place team finishes, respectively, while Gaemphuang Ketrahong matched the best individual performance in school history finishing fourth in 2025 and earned first-team NJCAA All-American honors; 2024 season saw a pair of Conqs record Top 25 individual finishes at nationals.  In his first season leading the women's golf program he led them to a second place team finish in the KJCCC, while capping the year with a fifth place finish at the District Championships and second place finish in Region 6.

In his three seasons leading the Conqs the team has won 11 tournaments and recorded seven second place finishes. While, 13 golfers have earned KJCCC All-Conference honors during his three seasons as head coach for the Conqs. 
 
Wilson wrapped up his collegiate golf career and entered the realm of coaching by taking over the Dodge City women’s program. His first two years competing in golf in college were at Dodge City under current men’s head coach, Chris Robinson as he attended Dodge City from 2018-2020. After his time as a Conquistador, Wilson finished his collegiate golf career at Newman University where he played two seasons for the Jets from 2020-22. Wilson during the 2021 NJCAA National Championships served as a volunteer coach for the Conquistadors.
 
While at Dodge City he recorded his best individual finish at the Baker Invitational in the fall of 2018 earning second place in the tournament. He was also part of back-to-back NJCAA academic National Championship teams while at Dodge City. At Newman one of his top finishes was 17th place at the 2021 Hillcat Classic hosted by Rogers State and for the 2021-22 academic year he was named to the MIAA golf academic honor roll. 
 
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Communications from Newman.
