Kristen Roetzer (formerly Rogers) is in her third year as Head Athletic Trainer for Dodge City.
She oversees all aspects of sports medicine at Dodge City from treatments, to injury care, therapy and more. Roetzer works with all sports and travels with teams during season to provide continued care for the student-athletes.
Roetzer came to the college after working as a trainer for USD 443 serving as the middle school athletic trainer and high school assistant athletic trainer for Dodge City schools. She has also worked as a trainer for the indoor football team in Dodge City the Southwest Kansas Storm, along with working as a trainer for the annual Dodge City Rodeo.
Born and raised in Dodge City, Roetzer was a multi-sport athlete attending Dodge City high school competing in volleyball, basketball, and track while also working as a student athletic trainer which led to her pursuing a career as an athletic trainer.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Springfield College (Springfield, MA) while also earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Wichita State University. Rogers went on to earn a Master of Science in Education from Fort Hays State University.
