Gabe Burrows was born in Hugoton, Ks and grew up farming and ranching on the family farm in Hugoton. He was raised around rodeo by his father Dave Burrows ( PRCA Gold Card Member) and his mother Simmy Burrows (WPRA Barrel Racer) helping train bulldogging, roping and barrel horses. He graduated from Pratt Community College and Panhandle State University and has competed competitively in Team Roping, Tie Down, and Steerwrestling all over the country. He has been a PRCA Card holder for 17 years, Qualified for the RFDTVs The American Semi Finals twice. KPRA Finals Steer Wrestling Qualifier Three times, CPRA Finals Qualifier Steer Wrestling, CPRA finals qualifier in tiedown, KPRA calf roping qualifier. He has held free Team Roping, Break away, Steer wrestling and Tie down roping clinics all over the nation as a way to give back to the sport of rodeo and to help develop the next generation of rodeo contestants.
