Katlin Reed served as an assistant coach for five seasons at Dodge City for the softball program.Â
In her first season she helped guide the Conquistadors to a 24-17 record and 14-12 in KJCCC action to finish second in the KJCCC DI West Division, and the team would finish third in the Region. The 2020 season was cut short due to CoVID, while the 2021 and 2022 seasons saw records of 15-23 and 21-27 for the Conquistadors. Reed has helped coach seven All-Region players and 14 All-Conference players, while also working with the 2019 KJCCC Freshman of the Year, Jessica Espinoza.
Before joining the staff at Dodge City she worked as an assistant coach at Monterey High School lin Lubbock, Texas.
As a player, Reed spent four years at Lubbock Christian University where she played as a utility player, appearing in 192 games. In 2015 she was named second team All-Heartland; hitting two home runs that season. Katlin was named to All-Heartland academic team each of her four years at Lubbock Christian.
She graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management.Â
