Erica Edmondson spent two seasons as an assistant rodeo coach at Dodge City Community College. This was her first rodeo coaching job. 

Edmondson brought plenty of experience to Dodge City staff with having competed in rodeo since she was six years old. In 2005 she won College National Finals Breakaway championship and was also Central Plains Region Breakaway and Goat Tying Champion. She also was Breakaway champion in 2007 in the Kansas Professional Rodeo Association along with being Reserve champion in 2009, while also being a WSTR finals qualifier two times in Team Roping Heading and Heeling. 

She also serves as the Work Ethic Coordinator at DCCC. Edmondson earned her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in K-6 Elementary Education and earned her master's degree in education from Newman University in Wichita.
