Nolan Genovese spent three seasons the sideline for the Dodge City Community College football program, working with the offensive side of the ball including serving as the offensive coordinator.

He was an athlete, and a coach under one of the most respected group of five level football coaches in the country and is able to bring with him everything he learned from that fountain of knowledge.

Before he was hired, he served as a Graduate Assistant who worked primarily with the offense at Middle Tennessee State University. His primary duties at MTSU were working with the offense, and more specifically the passing game. On top of this, he was in charge of the inside receivers and ran the meeting room for them. He scouted local players, opposing teams, assisted running practice for the offense, and helped to recruit players to become Blue Raiders. While coaching at MTSU he helped to produce one of the best offensive years in school history.

In 2016 the Blue Raider offense set a school record and ranked 8th in the country in total offense. They also set school records in total yards/game, total yards/play, points scored, passing yards and touchdown passes.

Before starting his coaching career, Genovese spent four years playing college football as a quarterback, two at the Junior College level, and his final two under Rick Stockstill at Middle Tennessee State University.

Genovese got his bachelor’s degree in organizational communication, and his master’s degree in professional studies, with an emphasis in strategic leadership. Both degrees were received from Middle Tennessee State University.
