Harris Bivin spent one season at Dodge City Community College working with the offensive line. Prior to Dodge City, Bivin was the Tackles and Tight Ends Coach at Samford University.
Bivin began his collegiate coaching career in 2016 as an Offensive Graduate Assistant at Murray State University. He then spent the 2017 season at Western Kentucky University as the Offensive Line Graduate Assistant/Interim Offensive Line Coach, after Offensive Line coach Geoff Dartt took a leave of absence for health related complications.
Prior to his coaching career, Bivin was a four-year starter on the Offensive Line at Murray State University from 2010-2014. He was a 2-time captain and earned 1st team All-OVC Center in 2014. He was also a Phil-Steel All-American Center in 2014 and was a member of 2 Top 25 FCS team in 2013 and 2014.After graduating from Murray State, Bivin was invited to the Rookie Mini Camp by the Indianapolis Colts in 2015. He signed with the Tampa Bay Storm, where he started 3 games. He was traded to the Los Angeles Kiss, where he started 4 games. Bivin's playing career ended due to injury.
