Terry C. Williams served as the Head football coach for Dodge City Community College from 1970-79, becoming one of the most winningest football coaches at DC3 (42-47 record in 89 games) . He also served the college as an athletic director, division chair of Health and Physical Education, instructor of health and physical education classes, and aws instructor of General Psychology. Coach Williams also served on the Professional Relations Committee that negotiated faculty contracts with the college. 

Coach Williams graduated from Holly High School (Colorado) in 1954. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Colorado University and earned his Master of Arts degree from Kearney State College. He also earned his Administrative Degree from Kansas State University. 

Coaching high school football, track, and wrestling in Fowler, Colorado from 1958-1960, his wrestling team was undefeated for both years. From 1960-1966, Coach Williams coached the Cozad (Nebraska) High School football, track, and wrestling teams. The football team clinched a state championship title in 1962 and the wrestling team won three consecutive state titles during his time. He was also a member of the Nebraska Shrine Bowl coaching staff in 1966. Moving to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1966, Coach Williams coach high school football, track, and wrestling, becoming president of the Wyoming Coaches Association and was instrumental in forming a football playoff system in the state. 

Terry Williams served as a Ford County (Kansas) Commissioner from 2005-2013.
