Box Score Dodge City men's soccer team hit the road for the first time in the 2025 season and took on Northern Oklahoma-Enid, earning a 1-0 victory to improve to 2-0 on the season.
The Conquistadors wasted no time taking control of the contest, getting on the board in the first two minutes of the contest as
Musashi Tanaka netted his first goal of the season on a pass from
Brian Hara. The Conqs would fire off multiple strong looks towards goal the rest of the first half but settle for a 1-0 lead headed into intermission. That 1-0 lead continued to hold up in the second half as the Conqs again got a few looks towards the goal but were unable to add to the lead, but ultimately earned the 1-0 victory.
Conqs finished the matchup firing 18 shots with six on goal in the contest.
Rensho Ishikawa got the start in goal and earned the win, recording a pair of saves in the win.
The Conqs are back on the road again on Sunday, August 31st, when they take on Northeastern Junior College at 12:00pm in Sterling, Colorado.
