Dodge City men's soccer hosted Northern Oklahoma College-Enid in non-conference action and would have all they could handle against the Jets falling 2-0 in the matchup.
The loss sends the Conqs to 1-3 on the season as they return to the conference on Sunday, September 8th.
The Conqs would get an early look at the goal in the first half but the Jets would burst through onto the scoreboard off a corner kick and a header in the 19th minute to make it 1-0. Despite a push by the Conqs, they would trail at intermission. In the second half, the chances would pick up for the Conqs as

Mikel Alvarez, and others all fired strong shots but the goalkeeper for Enid would discard them all and keep the Conqs off the board. Enid would misfire on a couple of wide-open opportunities but in the final two minutes of the contest net their second goal leading to a 2-0 decision against the Conqs.
Nearly even on the day in shots as the Conqs had 18 and Enid tallied 16.
Marcos Brondolo did record seven saves despite the Conqs surrendering two goals.
