                    Box Score For the third straight game, the Dodge City volleyball team was on the road in KJCCC play and would take on another top-tier conference foe facing off with #6 Colby. 
The Conqs would fall in three sets against the Trojans of Colby (25-15, 28-26, 25-13). The loss moves the Conqs to 13-10 on the season and 4-2 in KJCCC action. 
The first set would be tight early, but Colby would make a run midway through the set to go up 14-8 and would use that lead to control the set and grab it 25-15. Set two would see the Conqs fall behind again and would trail 21-14 but would mount a 5-0 run to draw close at 21-19. The Conqs would then tie the second set at 22-22 and would work to a set point chance at 25-24 but the teams would trade points until Colby snagged the second set 28-26. Colby took early control of the third set as the Conqs fell behind 12-5 and would be unable to overcome the deficit falling 25-13 in the third set to drop the match on the road against the Trojans. 
In the loss, the Conqs got eight kills from 
Beatriz Lampugnani Cornachini and eight digs. 
Agnes Hegardt chipped in six kills, while 
Amariah White and 
Azra Arslanoglu each tallied five kills. 
Hayden Pinard finished with 20 assists on the night in the loss. 
The Conqs are back home on Saturday, September 28th at 6:30 pm as they will host Seward County and welcome Butler to town on Monday, September 30th at 6:30 pm.
