Dodge City women's soccer hit the road on Saturday taking on Barton for the second time this season and the Conquistadors made a game of it against the Cougars but fell 2-0. 

The Conqs with the loss move to 2-7-1 on the season and 1-7 in KJCCC action. 

The contest would remain scoreless throughout the first half as the Conqs were able to stymie the Cougar's opportunities. Shortly into the second half, Barton broke through for the first goal of the match coming in the 46th minute, and then nearly 12 minutes later scored their second. The contest remained at 2-0 and Barton earned the win over the Conqs. 

In the contest, the Conqs were outshot 22-3 in the matchup with shots coming from Sian Cha, Alexandra Sibrikova, and Laura Gomez. Joelle Brand finished with five saves in the contest. 

Conqs are back in action at home on Wednesday, October 12th when they take on Hutchinson at 5:30 pm.
