Game one would see the long ball do the damage against the Conquistadors as Dodge City would keep the game scoreless through the first two innings while stranding a pair of Grizzly runners. DC3 would go down in order in the top of the third before two singles to start the bottom of the third before a fly out would bring up BCC three-hole hitter Becca Schulte would break the scoreless tie with a three-run home run over the center field fence. The Grizzlies would add a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 5-0 lead before ending the game in the bottom of the sixth with two home runs including a walk-off two-run home run with one out.
Sophomore

Things would fall apart in game two as Butler would scratch across a single run in the bottom of the first before breaking out for 12 runs in the second before adding a single run in the bottom of the third and three in the bottom of the fourth. BCC's 12-run second inning would come on 13 hits while leaving one runner on base, as DC3 would see balls hit in just about every gap.
Baylee Rial would go one-for-two in the game while
Jordyn McDaniel (1.2 innings),
Cassie Overturf (1.1 innings), and Makayla Tegtmeir (1.0 innings) would all see action in the circle for the Conquistadors.
