Box Score COLBY, Kan. - Struggles in all aspects of the game sum up how the night for the Dodge City Community College volleyball team went Wednesday night as the Conquistadors were dealt a 3-0 (25-18, 25-12, 25-23) loss at Colby Community College in Kansas Jayhawk Community college Conference action in Colby, Kansas. 

DC3 is now 4-4 overall and 2-1 in the KJCCC while the Trojans have won nine straight matches. 

"Our stats pretty much sum up how the night went for us" said head coach Kamri Nehls in a postgame interview. "We couldn't find a way to terminate a ball. We struggled with consistency and communication and it was definitely not our night."

Sada Smith led the Conqs with seven kills and seven digs to go along with one solo block while Briana Brown added seven assists. 

After enjoying a weekend off, Dodge City will host Kansas Wesleyan JV and Seminole State College in a home triangular starting at 2 p.m. from the DC3 gymnasium.
