DODGE CITY, Kan. - Returning to Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference action for the first time since the season opener at Highland, the No. 18-ranked Dodge City Community College football team will do battle with No. 12-ranked Butler Community College at BG Products Veterans Sports Complex on Saturday night in El Dorado, Kansas.
DC3, who is currently 3-1 on the season, will look to hand the Grizzlies their second consecutive defeat after losing by a score of 49-7 last week at Iowa Western. Dodge City and Butler shared the KJCCC conference title last year with each team finishing with a conference record of 6-1. Saturday will be the 85th meeting all-time between the schools with Butler holding a 51-32-2 advantage. The Conquistadors last win in the series came back in 2005 by a score of 23-17.
