DODGE CITY, Kan. - Dodge City Community College sophomore linebacker
Gary Johnson has been selected to the 2016 College Football America Yearbook Juco Starting Lineup, the CFA's version of an All-America team.
Last season, Johnson led the Conqs in tackles with 132 while forcing four fumbles, intercepting four passes and recording 8.5 sacks. Heading into this season, Johnson has verbally committed to play football for the University of Alabama after finishing his degree from DC3 in December and is one of the top junior college recruits in the 2017 class.
Only two other KJCCC players were named to the preseason starting lineup, with Butler defensive back Octavious Morgan and Garden City running back Deion Walker also being named to the list.
In total 19 Juco programs were represented on the preseason starting lineup with six schools having two players each on the list.
