Box Score DODGE CITY, Kan. -- A feverish attack over the final five minutes garnered plenty of shots for the Dodge City Community College men's soccer team, but the Conquistadors couldn't find the equalizer and fell to Allen Community College 1-0 Sunday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.

In a game that saw DC3 (3-3-2 overall, 0-3 KJCCC) outshoot Allen (4-5, 1-1) 18-3 with eight of those shots on goal, the Conqs could never find the back of the net.

The Red Devils broke a scoreless tie in the 50th minute when Kashsei Thompson dribbled through traffic to break free and beat DC3 keeper Sebastian Bolivar for a 1-0 advantage.

The DC3 attack increased as time grew short and had a good look in the final 30 seconds when a shot by Jamie Scott went just right of the goal.

Isaac Palma paced DC3 with four shots (one on goal) while Duran Lee took three shots (two on goal). Bolivar finished with one save for the Conqs.

Thompson took two of Allen's three shots (Isaias Guerrero took the other). Goalkeeper James Everett was key in the victory for the Red Devils, picking up eight saves.

DC3 hosts Barton 7 p.m. Saturday.
