HISTORY

- DC3 is 32-50-1 all-time against Butler. Since 2002, the Conquistadors are 1-13 against the Grizzlies with their lone victory coming in the Region VI semifinals in 2005 (23-17). Last season Butler defeated Dodge City at Memorial Stadium, 53-36.

- The 15th-ranked Conqs held off a pesky Fort Scott squad 17-14 on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. The DC3 defense held Fort Scott to 266 yards of offense.
- No. 3 Butler is coming off a 42-0 stomping of Iowa Central. The Grizzlies held Iowa Central to 156 yards while putting up 398 yards of their own.

- This is DC3's first matchup as a ranked team against another ranked team since 2013 when the Conqs were ranked No. 18 and lost to No. 19 Hutchinson 21-6 in the Region VI semifinals.

- DC3 has two receivers in the NJCAA top 25 in receiving yards per game in Justin McInnis (17th, 84.0) and Jeff George (25th, 78.5).
- Butler is eighth in the nation in scoring at 48.3 points per game and 26th in yards per game (392.8). DC3 is 20th in scoring (34.7) and 27th in yards per game (389.2).
- Butler's defense is holding teams to 11.2 points per game, fourth in the NJCAA.
