HISTORY

- Dodge City is 14-52 against Coffeyville since 1946. However, two of those wins have come since 2008 - including a 32-27 win in current coach Gary Thomas' first year at the helm in 2013. The Conqs lost to the Ravens last season 49-19 at Memorial Stadium.

PREVIOUS GAME

- The Conqs are coming off of a 68-3 victory over the Sterling College JV on Monday in Sterling, Kan. Dodge City outgained Sterling 554-44, including 363-1 on the ground as nine different players scored a touchdown.
- Coffeyville is coming off its second-consecutive loss - a 41-34 defeat to Highland on the road Saturday. The Ravens, who were ranked No. 1 two weeks ago before losing to Butler and Highland, surrendered 629 yards of offense (397 passing, 232 rushing) and 34 first downs in the loss. Coffeyville gained 364 with 336 of that coming through the air.

QUICK HITS

- With Monday's win, DC3's 7-2 mark is tied for the most wins by the program since 1985 (in 2005, the Conqs went 7-5). The DC3 all-time record for wins is nine (1957 and 1961), something the Conqs have a chance to tie or break this season (two regular season games and a possible bowl game remain).
- DC3 running back and Florida-commit Mark Thompson's rushing touchdown Monday gave him 21 in his career, breaking the school's all-time rushing touchdown mark of 20 set by Tyreis Thomas in 2013. Thompson is sixth in the country in rushing yards (980) and tied for fifth in rushing touchdowns (13).
- The DC3 receiving tandem of Justin McInnis and Tennessee-commit Jeff George are both in the top 25 in the NJCAA in receiving yards with McInnis tied for 10th (728) and George 23rd (579). McInnis is third in the country in yards per catch (20.8).
- DC3's defense is eighth in the NJCAA in rushing yards allowed per game (83.6) and 13th in total yards allowed (278.1).
- With an interception and a fumble returned for a touchdown Monday, the Conqs are tied for fifth in the NJCAA with five defensive touchdowns.

- The Coffeyville passing attack is third in the country in yards per game (343.8), tied for third with 38 passing touchdowns and is eighth in the nation in overall yards per game (499.9).
- Coffeyville quarterback Riley Ferguson, who missed a game earlier this season, is second in the NJCAA in passing yards per game (365.4) and third in touchdown passes (35). He's thrown six interceptions.
- Coffeyville's Cedrick Wilson has been Ferguson's top target with 64 receptions (second in the NJCAA) for 999 yards (third) and 17 touchdowns (second).
- DC3 football coach Gary Thomas' 16 wins in his third year with the program is seventh on the all-time list and most for a Conq coach since Jerry Cullen (who had 47 wins during his tenure from 1979-89).
