Box Score HESSTON, Kansas:  DC3 men's soccer had another successful outing on the pitch, this time in Hesston, Kansas as the Conquistadors dropped the Larks in a 3-0 shutout.  The win hiked the Conqs overall record to 3-1-1 overall while they are also 0-0-1 in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.

On the day, the Conqs outshot their opposition with 14 shots on goal in 32 total shots.
 
Goalkeeper Alex Rodela was only challenged twice in the net, saving both to keep the opposition scoreless on the day.
 
The first half was relatively quiet for both sides, with DC3 posting 15 shots but no goals to show for it.
 
That was quick to change in the second half when in the 47^th minute of the match, Dancovish Dorvilma ripped the ball through to the back of the net to bring the Conqs up 1-0.  Evan Williams was good for the assist on the play.
 
Then in the 63^rd minute Dodge City thought it advantageous to score another goal to create room between themselves and Hesston.  Mauro Hipolito sent the ball over to Shemuel Wilson who netted his second goal of the 2014 campaign.
 
The Conqs were not done scoring yet though with another goal finding the back of the net in the 72^nd minute by Ben Carter (his second of the season) with the assist by Rene Rodriguez.
 
The Conqs return home this week to take on Oklahoma Wesleyan at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10 and then Jayhawk opponents Cloud County at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 12.  Both matches will be broadcasted live.
