Dodge City men’s basketball picked up a pair of Top 20 wins last week to move to 11-1 on the season. BJ Freeman stepped into the starting lineup during the week and came up big for the Conquistadors in both contests. Against Butler Freeman posted a game high 23 points on 10-12 shooting and went 3-5 from three-point range, while adding eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks. He followed that up with 16 points in the road win over Hutchinson and added five rebounds, five assists, and four blocks.
On the season Freeman is averaging 12.1 points per game on 42.7% shooting and is shooting 37.1% from three-point range. He is filling out the stat sheet with 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
