Dodge City women’s basketball is 6-3 to start the 2021-22 season and Jada Burton has been helping lead the way for the Conquistadors this season. Last week Burton posted a season-high 19 points against Seward County on 6-11 shooting and went 6-8 from the free throw line, while adding nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Also last week she had nine points against Coffeyville adding four rebounds and five assists.
On the season Burton is averaging 11 points per game on 41.5% shooting while adding 4.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. Her 42 assists rank 18th in NJCAA Division I, while she is fifth in the KJCCC in assists per game overall, first among DI Conference schools.
