Newton averaged 23.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.5 assists in helping the Conqs split a pair of key KJCCC road games. The sophomore from Coffeyville started the Neosho game 7-for-7 from 3-point range and finished with a game-high 26 points to go along with six rebounds, four steals and three steals. Newton increased his scoring average to 14.8 points per game, good for 17th in the conference. He’s eighth in 3-pointers made (27) and 11th in 3-point percentage (45.0).
