Dodge City softball put together a 6-2 week on the diamond last week and Sophie Faidley was a huge piece of the Conquistadors success. She played in six of the eight games on the week suiting up at catcher for the Conqs and hit .632 for the week. Faidley recorded 12 hits, nine runs scored, two doubles, four home runs, a walk, and 12 RBI. Four of the six games she played in she recorded a multi-hit game including 3-4 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs scored in a 22-1 win over Dakota College. She also was 3-3 with a run scored, a double, a home run, and an RBI in a 6-0 win over Pratt.Â
