Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City softball picked up four wins last week beating rival Garden City twice and Frank Phillips twice. Jordyn Boxberger had a strong week in the circle and was productive at the plate for the Conquistadors. Boxberger tossed five innings in a run-rule win over Frank Phillips giving up just two runs on five hits and no walks, with one strikeout. She followed up with another five-inning outing against Garden City where she shutout out the Broncbusters giving up just four hits and struckout three. She added two hits, two RBI, three walks, a double, a triple, and five runs scored in three games played last week.
