Dodge City baseball has opened the season going 4-4 on a week long road trip to Texas. The offense packed some punch early in the season for the Conquistadors and Hunter Morgan was at the forefront of it. Morgan played in all eight games thus far this season in the outfield and at the lead off spot in the lineup. He is hitting .375 with 12 hits, seven RBI, three walks, two doubles, a triple, three home runs, 14 runs scored, and five stolen bases. He has recorded a hit in every game this season with three multi-hit games and has scored a run in six of the teams eight games.Â
